About NoK-Pokemon in English 4th gen games:
-I consider these Pokemons as "hacked", and they are banned from many trading forums. This is because Korean Pokemon games can only interact with other Korean Pokemon games. It's impossible to have these Pokemon events on English games without the use of some sort of cheating/external device.
-Though, there are many who consider them as "legal", because they are only transferred via save file editors, and not "hacked" (made from scratch or editet in a program). So, the question of whether or not these Pokιmon are hacked, isn't a question of whether it can be done or not, but a question of your idea of hacked or legit. How: "The only way it can be done is with a flash cart. The Pokιmon must be traded to a Korean version of Pokιmon on the flash cart. Then, you can load the save file into a save file editor and save the Pokιmon to your computer. You can then load the Pokιmon file into the save file editor and onto any version of Pokιmon you want, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. Once that has been done, the Korean Pokιmon can then be traded between international versions of the games." -Pokemon Secure
At first, I didn't wanna start collecting them because of this. But then I started to get everything I wanted, so I needed something new to collect.. XD Their names in the 4th gen games are of course blank, as our international games cannot contain the Korean letters.
5th gen: Korean Pokemon games can now interact with other games, and are no longer banned from forums like Serebii etc. =)
